51 st Annual Athletic Meet was held in SDP College for Women, Ludhiana amidst great mirth, verve and camaraderie on 22 February, 2020. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP College & SDP Sabha (Regd.) presided over the occasion and he was the Chief Guest for the Closing Session. Sh Rajinder Soi was the Guest of Honour for the morning session. He unfurled the college flag, took salute from a well synchronized March past contingents, lighted the torch, released balloons and declared the meet open. The Chief Guest was accorded a very warm welcome by the Members of the Management, Officiating Principal, Ms. Parkash Grewal, Convener. More than 500 students presented P.T. show, Aerobics exercises following the tune of the music and beat of the drum. The students wholeheartedly participated in all events like 50 mts, Race, 100, 200 & 400 mts. and displayed great teamwork and sportsmanship. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President addressed the students and motivated them to participate in sports and inculcate values like discipline, team work and leadership.
Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President and other dignitaries honoured the players and winners of various events with certificates and prizes. Ms. Parkash Grewal, Convener thanked the guests and participants and coaxed them to take part in sports to keep themselves healthy and fit.
