Under the able guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, a Workshop on ‘Tie and Dye Techniques and Preparation of Articles by using Waste Material’ was organized by the Department of Home Science, SDP College for Women, Daresi Road. Mrs. Ritu Lal was the resource person for the workshop. Total 18 students participated in this workshop. The resource person demonstrated the students about different tie and dye techniques, preparation of articles from waste material. She also told the students that how these articles can be useful for their clothing and home decoration also. The college Principal, Dr. Ravi Kant appreciated the efforts done by the Home Science Department.
