Under the guidance of the college President, Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, on the first day of Chaitra Navratri an ‘Eco Healthy Food Competition’ was organized by the Department of Economics, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. The objective behind the Competition was to inculcate healthy food habits and awareness regarding the choice of food among the young generation. Students participated in this competition with full enthusiasm. They displayed various types of mouth watering dishes through their culinary knowledge and skills. Their creativity was revealed through the beautifully prepared different beverages. Dr. Ravi Kant, the College Principal appreciated the efforts done by the Department of Economics for organizing the competition.
