Under the able guidance of Sh. Balraj Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha & College Managing Committee, the Department of NCC, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana arranged a seminar on ‘Traffic Rules and Road Safety Awareness’ Mr. Ashok Kumar, ASI, Assistant Traffic In charge Zone I and Head Constable, Sr. Gurpreet Singh, Traffic Education Cell, Ludhiana were the speakers. Sr. Gurpreet Singh, Constable gave a lecture on traffic rules. He asked the students to follow the traffic rules and practice self- discipline irrespective of whether the police is present at the signals or not and safeguard their young lives. He also brought to the notice of the students that the youngsters are becoming victims of road accidents due to traffic violations which has to be controlled. Dr. Ravi Kant, Principal appreciated the efforts done by the NCC Department and thanked the speakers for making the students aware of the traffic rules and following them and make the roads of Ludhiana safe and accident free.
