Under the able guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, International Environment Day was celebrated by the Department of NSS, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. Mr. Deepak Saini, Supervisor cum master trainer and Karan Aggarwal, Supervisor (Election office 065 Ludhiana North) were the chief guests. NSS volunteers planted saplings to celebrate the day. Students participated whole heartedly in Poster making, Pot Making, Slogan Writing and Paper Bag making competitions. The college Principal, Dr. Ravi Kant motivated the students to protect the Planet and thanked the chief guests earnestly.
