Under the sole inspiration of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, World Patient Safety Day based on the theme “Medication without harm” was celebrated by the department of Social Sciences. Dr. Anu Vaid was the resource person who raised awareness among the students about the importance of patient-centric care to encourage patient safety on global level. She emphasized the need to adopt a system approach and promote safe medication practices to prevent medication errors and reduce medication related harms. The college Principal, Dr. Ravi Kant appreciated the efforts done by the department.
