SDP College for Women organises an Extension Lecture on ‘Life through the Lens of Gender Dimensions’

 

Under the guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha (Regd.) and College Managing Committee, an Extension Lecture on ‘Life through the Lens of Gender Dimensions’ was organised by the Department of Social Sciences, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. Dr. Jagdish C. Mehta, Associate Professor and Head, the Department of Sociology, DAV College, Chandigarh was the resource person. He was warmly welcomed by Offg. Principal Ms. Sudesh Bhalla. He focused upon spreading awareness amongst students regarding gender disparity that prevails in the society. He also talked about gender equality. Ms. Sudesh Bhalla, Offg. Principal thanked the resource person for enriching the students with his though provoking ideas. She also appreciated the efforts done by the department of Social Sciences.
