SDP College for Women Celebrates Gurupurb with great religious fervour

Under the able guidance of Sh. Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha & College Managing Committee, Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s pious Gurupurb was celebrated by SDP College for Women and SDP Collegiate Girls Sen. Sec. School, Ludhiana with religious devotion and fervor today in college campus.  Students from the department of Music recited shabad by performing kirtan. Students as well as faculty members recited poems on the life history of Shri Guru Nanak Dev Ji and chanted ‘Chaupai Sahib’. A large number of students attended the shabadkirtan, The whole ambience was filled with religious devotion. To mark the holy ‘Parkash Utsav’, langer was also organized in the college premises in which teaching, non- teaching staff and students participated in Langer Seva with great religious enthusiasm. Ms. Sudesh Bhalla, Officiating Principal motivated the students to follow the path of truth, peace and universal brotherhood. She appreciated the efforts put in by all the faculty members and wished a happy Gurupurb to all.
