Under the able and expert guidance of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Managing Committee, One Day seminar on ‘Job Opportunities in Journalism’ was organized by the Department of Hindi, SDP College for Women, Ludhiana. Senior Journalists from esteemed newspaper agency were the resource persons. They were accorded a very warm welcome by the College Principal and the faculty members of Hindi Department. The journalists made the students aware of the various job opportunities in Journalism after completing graduation in Functional Hindi. They also talked about the importance of digitalization in journalism and further highlighted the career opportunities in print media and electronic media. Students of Hindi department enriched the seminar through their valuable questions and subsequent discussion at the end of the session. ShBalraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP Sabha and College Principal congratulated the faculty of Hindi Department for organizing such a brilliant lecture and also applauded the students for attending the lecture attentively. Mrs. Nivedita Arora, Assistant Professor in Hindi delivered a Vote of Thanks to both the resource persons for such an informative lecture.
