SDP College for Women organises 54th Annual Athletic Meet amidst Enthusiasm, Passion and Vigour!

 
Chief Guests: Prof. (Dr.) Yajvender Pal Verma, Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, was the Chief Guest for the inaugural session.
                        Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP College and Sabha (Regd) was the Chief Guest for the Closing session
Members present: Sh H.K. Chugh, Gen, Sec., Sh Vijay Inder Gupta, Sh Dhari Shah Singla, Sh. Omkar Singla, Sh. Parveen Sharma,  Sh. Ravinder Kumar Singhania, Sh. Jasbir Chauhan, Principal and Dr. Sanjeev Bindra, Principal.
MAIN HIGHLIGHTS:
SDP College for Women Ludhiana, wore a very festive look on its 54th Annual Athletic Meet, amidst much fervour, gaiety and exuberance, under the inspiration and stewardship of Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP College and Sabha (Regd).  The Chief Guest for the inaugural session, Prof. (Dr.) Yajvender Pal Verma, Registrar, Panjab University, Chandigarh, was formally welcomed by Dr. Neetu Handa, Principal and the Members of Management. He unfurled the college flag, took salute of a well synchronized March past contingents, lighted the torch, released balloons and declared the meet open. 
                              The Chief Guest for the closing session, Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, SDP College and Sabha (Regd), was accorded a very warm welcome by the Members of the Management, College Principal, Staff and students. The students presented Aerobics exercises following the tune of the music and beat of the drum. The participants proved their mettle in various final sports events including, track, field and recreational events and displayed great teamwork and sportsmanship. Towards the culmination of the event, students also presented the soul of Punjabi culture, Giddha. Sh Balraj Kumar Bhasin, President, motivated students to participate in sports as it is not only required for fitness and well-being but excellence in sports itself has many avenues.
The Chief Guest and other dignitaries honoured the players and winners of various events with certificates and trophies. Sh HK Chugh, Gen. Sec. delivered a Vote of thanks to the Chief Guest for his benign presence. He also thanked the participants and coaxed them to take part in sports for a healthy life.
